"The security forces have rebelled. Louise is the victim of a coup. Will you let me crawl inside you, stand guard over you, trap them as they come at you? Why can't I dam their blind tide that filthies your blood? Why are there no lock gates on the portal vein? The inside of your body is innocent, nothing has taught it fear. Your artery canals trust their cargo, they don't check the shipments in the blood."

I could go on quoting "Written on the Body", but it would be unnecessary, Miss Fiamma. You evidently know what it all means. Memory here is also linked to cells that don't die, or die an untimely and capricious death, in the body of Louise. The narrator is then forced to live on a memory made up of the pieces of her beloved as she strove to memorize them knowing that she would soon be gone.

No link between homeostasis and utopia. It is all so vague, my dear.

Thanks for commenting. Nice to have you around, again.

Regards,

Dear Manon,

Oh, yes...death, the only leveler. As it is inside, it is outside. Death is part of the whole thing... always. The question about some internal deaths, in my mind, is whether they are indeed for the Greater Good. I feel that sometimes they are, but sometimes they aren't. At times we are forced to kill things inside in order to go on living, but the process isn't a natural one. It is not what it should be.

Our bodies are far more sophisticated and wise, in being able to perform the sacrifice without a conscience. Too bad we have one...

Thanks for passing by, as always. Your comment was superb.

Kindest regards,

Apoptosis is an amazing thing. P53 is superb. Homeostasis is the Greater Good. TNF, the kiss of death. Nothing works so fine.
It´s death inside me, since I was born. Not the idea, the mere thought: it´s real, and it happens every single second. Sacrifices for the Greater Good.
Such a lot of poetry inside a person.

Kind regards,
